The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area website on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
